To mark the weekend of the Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction, the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne invites you to enjoy a unique gastronomic experience on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 8 PM.
For one special evening, the immersive exhibition space at the Cité in Beaune will be transformed into an exceptional setting for a five-course immersive dinner.
In this unique atmosphere, let yourself be surprised by a succession of food and Bourgogne wine pairings, accompanied by live piano music. A special opportunity to experience the Cité in a whole new way, combining gastronomy, Bourgogne wines and music.
The Menu and Wine Pairings
For this special evening, discover a five-course menu, with each culinary creation paired with a carefully selected Bourgogne wine to complement its flavours.
. Aperitif – Trio of gougères (traditional Burgundian cheese puffs), paired with a Crémant de Bourgogne Brut “Les Lavots” 2019 from Maison Louis Bouillot.
. Starter – Lightly seared tuna with Asian-inspired flavours, paired with a Meursault 1er Cru “Charmes” 2019 from Maison Edouard Delaunay.
. Main Course – Chef’s slow-cooked, melt-in-the-mouth beef with a reduced Pinot Noir jus, served with a creamy Amandine potato purée, paired with a Fixin 1er Cru “Clos de la Perrière” 2018 from Domaine Joliet.
. Cheese Course – Trio of cheeses from Hess, paired with a Maranges “Sur le Chêne” 2023 from Domaine Chevrot et Fils.
. Dessert – Passion fruit profiterole with white chocolate sauce and mango coulis, paired with a Viré-Clessé “La Barre – Levrouté” 2022 from Domaine Michel.
Price: €180 per person, including the five-course dinner, five wines and live musical accompaniment.
