European Heritage Days in Beaune

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, come and discover the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne in Beaune from a new perspective!

Throughout the weekend, enjoy a special admission price, exclusive content and events created especially for the occasion, as well as a wide range of free activities. The visitor trail, flash guided tours, photography, exhibitions and family activities will make these two days a celebration of Bourgogne’s wine heritage and its transmission.

On the programme:

• Visitor trail
Immerse yourself in our multisensory visitor trail, entirely dedicated to the history and culture of Bourgogne wines.

Your ticket also includes a tasting of a Bourgogne wine or grape juice.

Available throughout the weekend – 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Special admission price: €11 per adult / free for under-17s

• Flash guided tours
In just 15 minutes, learn more about the Climats of the Bourgogne winegrowing region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: their expertise and traditions, as well as how they have evolved over time.

Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m., 12 noon, 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Tours start within the visitor trail – No registration required – Included with your admission ticket

• Children’s activity booklet
A fun activity booklet invites younger visitors to explore the visitor trail while solving a series of puzzles. A surprise awaits them at the end of their visit if they manage to discover the mystery word!

Recommended for children aged 6 to 10 – Included with the admission ticket
Available throughout the weekend – 10 a.m.-7 p.m. – Children must be accompanied by an adult

• Photo walk
With the help of a dedicated booklet, explore the Cité, take on a series of photography challenges and see your surroundings from a new perspective.

• “Couleur Texture Matière” exhibition and meet the artist, Joyce Delimata
Discover Couleur Texture Matière – The encounter between an artist and Bourgogne wines, an exhibition by Joyce Delimata bringing together several of the artist’s series, including La Naissance du vin, Nuanciers du Pinot Noir and Climats, as well as a series of Indian ink drawings dedicated to grapevines.

For the European Heritage Days, meet the artist and discover the exhibition with her on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
