Discover Our New Orientation Tables at the Cité in Beaune!
Since January 2025, the Cité in Beaune invites you to experience its latest addition: 13 brand-new orientation tables installed on the 5th floor, at the Belvedere. Thanks to an exceptional panoramic view, these tables offer visitors a unique way to read and understand the iconic vineyard landscapes that surround Beaune.
Designed in collaboration with Clarisse Garcia, scenographer of the Cité, Jean-Pierre Renard, trainer at the École des vins de Bourgogne, and our passionate teams, this new feature invites you to take a moment, look around, and connect with the rich heritage of the Climats and vineyards of Burgundy.

A Unique Panoramic View in Burgundy
At the Cité in Beaune, enjoy an exceptional panorama over the famous Côte viticole — a view like no other in Burgundy. Perched 21 meters high, our Belvedere invites you to pause and take in the breathtaking vineyard landscape.
Thanks to our 13 orientation tables, you’ll be able to easily find your bearings and identify the key features of the landscape: vineyards, charming villages, renowned Climats, and remarkable sites across the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
To make the experience even more special, we also offer an exclusive “Landscape Interpretation” guided tour on the first Sunday of every month. For one hour, our guide will lead you through the secrets of the Côte, helping you read the landscape, understand its history, and simply enjoy the view — all under the Burgundy sky.
