What to do in Burgundy with family?
In Burgundy, the Cité des Climats et Vins offers a rich cultural program throughout the year and a wide range of activities for families and children. These experiences allow you to fully enjoy the Cité and explore the history of Burgundy’s Climats and wines in a fun and interactive way.
A unique journey in Burgundy specially designed for families
For your children, a dedicated path is integrated into the main tour, offering insights into the history of vineyards in Burgundy: fossils, the vine’s life cycle, grape clusters, animals, and more.
This path, marked by seven small cabottes—traditional vineyard shelters—allows young visitors to learn while having fun through immersive, sensory, and playful experiences.
The visit concludes with a grape juice tasting.
Fun and creative activities
Come and discover our creative activities focused on a variety of themes connected to the Cité: biodiversity, archaeology, vineyard landscapes, and more.
It’s your turn to play! Try out themed activities as a family and experience wine and grapes in all their dimensions.
Discover, create, craft, smell, touch… These fun and educational activities offer a unique approach to the world of wine, allowing children to explore a specific theme.

To make your children’s visit to the Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne even more exciting, we’ve created activity and investigation booklets to challenge them during their tour.
Awaken your children’s inner detective with our Cité-themed investigations!
Grab one of our booklets and set off on a quest through the permanent exhibition and, sometimes, even other areas of the Cité.
Throughout the year, you can also enjoy our seasonal themed booklets for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and more.
A small gift will be offered to your child at the end of the tour if they successfully solve the Cité’s mysteries!

What to do in Burgundy with family?
For holidays or special events, our Cités located in Burgundy—Chablis, Beaune, and Mâcon—offer special activities designed for families and children.
At Easter, during school holidays, Halloween, or Christmas… Enjoy theatrical visits with Thomas Volatier, shield and coat of arms crafting, pop-up card creation, fossil hunts, themed investigation games, as well as making greeting cards and candle holders.
Throughout the year, we organize creative, hands-on, and fun activities to share an interactive and enjoyable moment at the heart of the Cités.
