Tasting is a sensory exercise that will help you learn more about the olfactory world, aromas, terroirs, vocabulary, typicity, and the unique characteristics of a wine. With our tasting workshops, whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you can delve deeper into the art of tasting. In the company of our instructors, you will learn to observe, smell, and appreciate the different wines you taste.
Tasting Workshop in Chablis
Occasionally throughout the year, or upon request, participate in our tasting workshops at the Cité in Chablis.
Glass in hand, we offer 45-minute workshops to explore Burgundy wines and their richness through various themes.
With our professional instructors, our tasting workshops provide you with an introduction to tasting techniques around different themes, giving you a deeper understanding of the wines and the region.
Taste in Chablis
Choose from three themes: “Introduction to Tasting” to grasp the basics of wine tasting, “Burgundy Treasures” to understand Burgundy’s terroirs, and “Food & Wine Pairings” to delight your taste buds and elevate your dishes and wines at home.
Depending on the workshop, you will have the opportunity to taste 3 to 5 wines that align with the chosen theme.
Custom Workshops
In addition to our scheduled workshops throughout the year, you have the opportunity to organize a tailor-made tasting workshop.
You can choose from our existing themes or create your own: wines and chocolates, wines and treats, wines and cheeses, and more…
