Echoes of wine-growing Bourgogne’s monastic heritage
In Chablis, the Cistercian monks of old would be proud to know that their historic Petit Pontigny cellar remains entirely dedicated to promoting the vineyards and wines of Bourgogne.
You will walk through nearly ten centuries of history in this intimate, historic building, renovated and equipped with a contemporary extension that is harmoniously integrated into the garden’s welcoming environment.

La Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne in Chablis gives pride of place to the vineyards of northern Bourgogne, with the emphasis on Chablisien, Grand Auxerrois (combining the vineyards of Auxerrois, Tonnerrois, Vézelien and Jovinien) and Châtillonnais.
