Good to Know
Learn how to look at, smell, and taste white wines, red wines, and identify their aromas. The workshop also covers wine storage, service, and food and wine pairings.
After a lunch-tasting, the afternoon is dedicated to discovering the vineyard, with a landscape reading in the Grand Crus of the Côte de Nuits, a guided tour of the legendary Château du Clos de Vougeot, and a guided tasting visit at a wine estate.
By the end of the day, you will feel more comfortable with a glass of Burgundy and begin to find the right words to comment on the wines and share your impressions.
The courses and visits will be led by an instructor from the Ecole des Vins.
This training is open to all, with no prior knowledge of wine, Burgundy wines, or tasting required.
